The Ron Morris one comes with a little resistor you can run in place of the EGR solenoid to make the computer happy. Of course you know remaval of the EGR valve will cause you to fail the visual part of your smog check and probably cause you to fail the "new" enhanced smog check comming to the bay area. It will check for another gas, NOx, the EGR valve playsa huge role in your cars ability to reduce NOx emissions. Just something to keep in mind when you have to smog it, hope this helps.
