I was out Saturday night running the COBRA against a WS6 when all of a sudden, right as I shifted to third I hear a grinding noise. I didn't miss third, the shift was fine. It was after I gave it gas that it did this. Long story short, third and fourth do not work. When I shift into them it feels loose and empty. Do I buy a new T45 or rebuild it? And is there any type of rebuild kit that would be an upgrade for hard racing?

The least you could buy is hte 3550 and that would be enough to keep the 3rd 4th breakage from happening again

Were you at least winning?
Serioulsy, whatever you do, don't rebuild the T45 or put another one in. Upgrade to at least a 3550. Tremec TKO if you can. Money well spent.

Those are all great suggestions guys, but I am on a budget. I can't afford to spend $2200 on a Tremec ( which would be my wish ), but I have a wedding to pay for and school to worry about. If anyone knows of an upgrade rebuild kit to the T45 that would be my ticket. Oh, and yes , I was winning. [ June 02, 2003, 08:57 PM: Message edited by: J's DDLY SNK ]

Cool I'll call them up. By the way, how much do they charge?
