can you have too big a fuel system? I need to buy a new fuel system and plan on getting a supercharger down the road a ways. Can i buy the fuel system for the blower and run it on an all motor car or will it hurt it? Also, what size injectors should i get to support around 11lbs of boost and 450-500rwhp
THANKS

No, with a custom chip is almost impossible to have "too big" of a fuel system. For 450-500 rwhp, you can go with 42, 50 or even 55 lbs injectors depending on how much fuel pressure you want to run. Remember fuel pumps flow less at higher pressures.

"can you have too big a fuel system"? IMO, no, but you need to be able to control it. This means having a custom chip or an aftermarket engine management system. I wouldn't try doing it any other way. You can run injectors and a fuel pump that are way more then you actually need and control them until you build what you want. The injector duty cycle needs to be under control as well as the pump flow, both can be accomplished with the right aftermarket products.
