I've seen them take 5K RPM clutch dumps, leaving on the bottle and I've also seen them break with 3500 RPM clutch dumps on the stock motor. Its basicly chance. Are you feeling lucky?

Damn I thought the answer would be something like that.. I just hate to breat an axle during a launch or secong gear shift and crash my car into the wall at the track
especially after I just spent the last year learning how do make a car look like glass [AKA paint]
Does any one know where I could find some cheap 31 splines for a lincoln versa... 9"???

Mine broke first launch out at Sac Raceway. Those were stock 28 spline, axle came out. I knew better, just in a rush at the time.

I ran 28 spline axles through a mini-spool and drove the car on street all the time and took it to the track several times and they never broke. BUT when I get more money I will upgrade! .....
