The best thing to buy is a Chilton's manual for your car and to read it. You'll be ahead of most 'stangers if you A) buy the book and B) actually read it.

www.booksforcars.com Get the FORD service manual, runs you about $50-90 bucks. I got one and I love it. In my option there is nothing better. Chiltons is good but sometimes a little broad, I love having EVERY LITTLE DETAIL in print of what exacty should be done on the car.
