87 LX, any tricks or tips I should know about removing the mufflers and tail pipes? they are all one piece on each side so I think it might be kinda tough without a lift.

You'll need to cut the tips off near the muffler and snake them out.

A sawzall or torch or grinding wheel is highly prefered. Life's too short.... take it to a dirty muffler shop and offer them $5 to cut it off for you.

try unbolting the rear shocks that will give you a bit more clearance

Yep rear shocks and springs and it should snake right out for you. If not that pretend you are a 300lb sumo and tear them out by hand. If you don't get by morning give me a call @ (510) 719-0832 and I will be home all day working on projects and can give you a hand. I am in Dixon.

I went to a friends house and it took use about 30 seconds with his Sawzall so I am all set [Big Grin] We also pulled my motor apart and replaced head gaskets, always lots of fun [patriot]

Yes its all back together [Smile] didn't plug in the vaccum on the Map when we first fired it up that was a REALLY rough idle. Car seems to be running good but the radiator is sooooooo clogged i need to replace it ASAP.
