so i got a supercharger and got it tuned. like 1 week after the tune the car starts dying while im driving. after it would die i couldnt start it again till it cooled off alot. and when it got hot again it would die. so i was told to replace the stock distributer with an MSD. after that it ran for a few days but the timing was jacked. so i turned the timing down to 7. at 7 the ping went away, but a few days later it starts to die again when it gets hot. WTF is wrong with this car?

Sounds like your TFI module is going bad. When its not starting, check to see if you have spark or not.

i got the same problem.
but iknow mine has to do with the fuel pump
cuz when it would stop running or not start i
noticed that the fuel pump is dead,i got a t-rex pump so when it does die out i bypass my stock wiring and go directly to power from trex.i think its my stock wiring on the fuel side.but eventually it would come on again, also mine happens whenever cold /hot.

I don't think you can vapor lock an EFI car.

I have been battling this problem for a little while now. I believe I have finally fixed it. First, I removed the jumper harness behind the intake manifold. Second, I dropped my fuel tank to find whoever originally put the aftermarket fuel pump in left the factory "screen" filter in the tank. I was getting a loud bleeding off sound when I would stop the car and had some serious issues(20 psi on the rail) when I would try a hot restart. Have you checked/replaced your inline filter? Do you know how much pressure is on your rail when you try to restart?

If the car isn't firing the spark plugs when its not starting, then replace the TFI module.
