Give me you opinion. Would you go for a 140 Amp Alternator direct bolt in one wire or the 3G 130 Amp Upgrade Mod Alternator.?

Car is a 89 LX 5.0 Pullies,Electric Fan other bolt on's.

My 140amp 1 wire Alternator is dying. The regulator went bad my lights would flash because the volts would go from 12volts to 17. It sucked so i just installed the stock one back on.

What do you have to do to get the 3G to work? Does it use the same connectors as the stock 5.0 for 92? I know you have to make the wires bigger.
