i got a 88 GT droptop and i recently bought some used subframe connectors and i was just curious are subframes different for droptops and hardtops?? the one i got is like 3 1/2 feet long with brackets on each end of them there bolts ons but if they fit my drop ima just get them welded on... so are they different lengths??
and also whats the skinnest and widest length i can go up front with my poines??
any advise would be nice thanks......

Sounds like you got some normal sub frame connectors instead of "full lengths". Full length sub frame connectors will add greater support to the flimsy 'vert.
