Well... I just got done installing a cam, lower and upper intake manifold and underdrive pullies on my 95 5.0... and I did something stupid. I forgot to mark the position of my distributor. Can anyone give me an idea of how to get my timing back in line... also could this cause the car not to start

take #1 spark plug out, turn it over with your finger over the spark plug hole. When you feel air coming out of it you are on compression. As soon as you feel the air coming up, look at the balancer. Put zero degrees "straight up" on the balancer. Stop turning. plop distributor in, point rotor on distributor at #1 plug wire.
also, there is a small indentation on the distributor near where it hits the block for the proper orientation, it will line up with a similar marking on the block.
