if you bypass the air pump, do you have to plug up all the lines that go in and out of it? if you just leave it, wouldnt it become a big leak? just trying to decided if i want to bypass the pump along with the a/c. i have enough to do when smog time comes, hehe

Just skip it by getting a shorter belt and not running it around the pully for it. You wont have to disconnect anything. And when smog time comes...just put the stock belt back around the smog pump and it will work good:)

Smog pumps freeze when not in use for periods of time. Just by pass the smog and ac at the track with a short belt do not do it all the time.

You wont even notice a gain by not running the smog pump. Just get a REAL short belft for the track and run it there
