Will i have to change a bunch of stuff for 31 spline axels? And will it be much better than aftermarket 28 splines?

31 require a new diff, cheapest option is to pull from an F-150.
28 aftermarket steel should get you buy.

My 4th launch on slicks at the track resulted breaking an axle, my tranny on the other hand, I never had any problems on slicks. I broke all 4 of the T-5's on the street

Damn really?
Both mine and my bros cars were 100% bone stock 100,000 mile deals with the exception of gearing.I know there was at least 150+ passes on both rearends with stock axels, stock carrier and stock C-Clips.And both cars were pulling 1.5's on motor.I think my bro got a 1.4 out of his on the jug. Its kinda like T5's. Some last and some don't. It's like flipping a coin.
