hello.. I just recieved both underdrive pullies and timing adjustor from steeda. I have not yet tried to install either one. i was browsing through some mustang sites and noticed that most people only have underdrive pullies with out the timing adjustor! why is that?? are they not benefitial for 01 cobras? so far i've hear people saying they are either good for cobras or just a waste of money and that i should send it back...what should i do?
please let me know!!
thank you

pd: what should the timing be??

mods: xpipe with highflow cats, 4.10's, densencharger, pro 5.0 shifter, eibach springs...some other useless stuff.

Yeah, you will see gains with the T/A for sure, but some people just use a chip to bump the timing (like I did) and therefore don't bother with the T/A. I'd start the timing at 14 degrees, drive it, see if it pings...if it doesnt, bump it another 1 or 2 and so on and so forth. For most people, 14 is optimal, and make sure you run 91+ octane (if you dont already). Good luck, let me know if you need more help.

thank you... i've had several people tell me that the t/a is a pretty good idea since i dont plan on getting a chip until i get a blower (3+ years)
so i'll install it next week and let know how it goes!
