has anyone install one these kits on 87-93 fox, and would you recomend this kit to anyone.Is anyone runnig this kit right now (competion or eliminator). I plan on me and boy javier (ujstlst), 2 install this kit on my coupe. any info you could share on any aeromotive fuel system please do so... thanks [patriot]

I don't have that specific kit but have a dual Aeromotive pump setup and I can give you some general advice on setting it up.

o Mount the pump as low as possible (should be below the level of in-tank pickup).

o Use 10 gauge wire to power and ground the pump. Best to come directly off the battery and through fuse and relay to the pump.

o Make sure you use a filter before and after the pump and make sure it's the 100 micron in front (metal mesh filter element) and the 10 micron after (paper mesh filter element).

o Install an Aeromotive voltage reducer for street use (this is a must).

o Run the return lines out of the end of both fuel rails. Do not run the drivers side return line from the middle of the drivers side rail.

o Use as few sharp bends as possible.

Best of luck on the install.

do you have a diagram or pictures of how your system is set up Im goin to be doing a system on my 99gt and what to see what people have done thanks for any info

Well aeromotives kit did solve my fuel problem but it was not put together right in my opinion. They give you tie straps to hold in your fuel lines. Come on now tie straps. I mean for the money that we pay they give you this shit. Well we made custom brackets to hold the lines in. Other than that it is pretty nice

how do or where to wire from also how do you get then to start when you start the car

The relay is the key to activating the pump. It is basically a remote switch that gets a signal from somewhere, in this case the wire from your original pump circuit, and it closes the circuit for your power source, in this case your battery. If you have a relay or get one, the hookup will become easier to understand. There are 4 terminals on the relay (actually 5 but just refer to the following numbers on the relay housing). The wire from your battery will go to terminal post 30 (10 gauge). From terminal post 87 to the pump (10 gauge). The wire that triggers your OEM pump will go to terminal 85 on the relay (16 gauge). A 12 volt switched source will go to terminal 86 on the relay (16 gauge). The signal from the factory computer will control the pump at terminal 85 and should run the pump for 6 seconds (factory limit) and then shut off until you crank the engine when it will run all the time (until the key is turned off). Hope this is clear.

sorry for so many questions but do you have one relay per pump or did you splice the 1 relay to both pumps also who or where do I buy a relay

I curently have a aeromotive fuel pump control unit will that work for both pumps

I have one relay and one fuse for each pump. You can get the relay at just about any parts store, like NAPA. It is a 30 amp relay (sorry I don't have a part number).

okay so get 2 reays and two fuses for the pumps

Im goin to go to napa to day and ask for a 30 amp relay
