ok, i put aftermarket 17x9 covbra r's on my cobra, then lowered it with Eibach pro-kit. Had wheels balanced, + went to have it aligned because the wheel shimmied between 60-80mph, + it pulled left slightly = when i break. The shop told me that it wouldn't be woth an alignment 'cause it need castor/camber plates... Should I spend the $ to see if that fixes the prob, or should I get the plates, then the alignment? HELP...

get the allignment. they should be able to put it to factory specs with maybe 1-2 degrees of negative camber, which is cool. most people dont really need camber/caster plates

Try offset rack bushings.I lowered my 94 1.5" and had the car aligned with c/c plates. My car still pulled left when I brake or hit a bump. After installing the rack bushings,it restored my originally front geometry suspension by raising up the rack a lil' and I never had the left pulling problem again.Plus it made the ride feel firmer up front.

yeah, they showed 2 of the four wheels being off between 1.2 and 2 degrees, so a regular align will work you think? thax
