Thinking of selling my 86 notchback. It's a factory 5.0/t5 car. Was originally black with red interior (now gray). Clean title in my name, 100k + miles, engine is all stock, runs and drives good. The car is a bit rough, looks like it sat somewhere for sometime with moist leafs in the trunk channel causing minor rust to the channel. I bought the car in the L.A area in July of this year and drove it back. The previous owner primered the car black and smogged it. It has cracks on the floors with a crappy attempt at welding the cracks.
The car doesn't looked to have been hit up front but both doors have been changed. Previous owner said the doors had dents and replaced them with perfectly straight doors. I paid $3,800 for it and have added a hurst short shifter, PS pressure line, alternator, spark plugs and other minor items.
Looking to sell and to start with a better car. I'm looking to get what I paid for it. Price is firm at $3,800 with smog or 3,600 without smog. Smog should not be an issue as the engine is stock and runs good.
