I have a 308 shortblock with speed pro hyper pistons. I bought it off another member here and was told it was rebuilt 2k miles ago. The freeze plugs look new and cam bearings look new as well new oil pump. The cylinders do need to be honed however. Selling because im going a different route.

I bought the motor like that wishing to just throw it on later to find out it needed machine work.

Depends on machine shop I would say about 400 on average.
