That thing is a relic! And for a steal of a price. Who ever buys that is getting hooked up.

Nobody wants it because it's 40 over lol. Anyone who's pays 100 for a piece of scrap iron is crazy.
Is it 40 over fresh out of the machine shop?

NOOB Here yes, but not to the mustang world lol
The mexican blocks had more material in the block and slightly stronger for that reason. Its basically and original SVO-B50 sportsman block but without provision for roller lifters. Some say they are 25% stronger, some say less. Unfortunately, the cylinder walls are just as thin, if not thinner, than the late model blocks. That means, that 30 over bore in just about the limit on them. After that, you'll have to have it checked, and IF its still good, you'll be paying triple for some crazy odd over-sized pistons or have to have the block sleeved. After all that, you might as well get a different block, or go dart/frpp/world because it'll cost $1000 plus for just the short block at that point. Nice you know how to use Google. Not sure about the other sites you use,BUT here we make it a point not to FUD other peoples threads.Even if you feel something is worthless or not worth the asking price these are your feelings and OR opinion on the situation. Please keep these to yourself in the ford sale section. If you feel you must voice your knowledge their is a tech section which you may re-site what ever info you have in your OWN thread without creating FUD in another members post. WELCOME TO CAFORDS!

Nothing wrong with a 40 over Mexican block.... I have a 60 over Mexican block in my car. I've had no problems with temps or anything. I think I've seen the block jon has and from what I remember it was in good shape.
So cool it noob bruh bruh.
