1997 Mustang Cobra
131k miles, Clean Title, great Rio Red paint, nice black interior. Car is mainly stock with the exception of a few mods. Just did a tune up and brake job with new pads.
Engine-has a K&N drop in filter, otherwise stock!
Mods- MGW short shifter, o/r DynoMax X-pipe, SLP CatBack, Eibach Lowering springs,Sub-Frame connecters, Tokico Shocks all around, And brand new DeepDish 95 Cobra Rs.
Smog Problem: I just bought the car about 3months ago; the last owner told me it had just passed smog. Well after two test the car failed due to bad cats. The factory H-pipe is needed to pass smog. I don’t want to deal with this main issues, this why I sold my last Mustang and this is the reason this car is for sale. This said the new owner is responsible for smog.
Other cosmetic problems- ABS light is on due to a bad ABS sensor, and the front bushing squeak and its really annoying. I intalled an Off/Road x-pipe and there is a leak, i didnt know they needed a gasket, which i just bought.And of course the "check engine light" becuse i haven bought the 02 MILs ![[patriot]](graemlins/patriot.gif) Non of these problems are expensive just time consuming, and no part is over $100, so dont low ball because of this.
Other than that the car is solid and a great daily. Just looking to get some of my money back.

Damn Ismael, already??? That thing looks hella clean too! I have a stock H-pipe you can borrow for smog bro! Just bolt it on, smog it, then slap your X-pipe back on... DUDE, KEEP THAT SHIT!

Dude i dont know wtf i want anymore. This car is great, but i really wanted a Saleen S281 96-98 or a C5 targa top Vette. and i jump into this car because i was sold on the Cobra name ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif) ...

Yea bro...these 4v motors shit on the 2v non-pi motors that the 96-98 saleens have! I had that black 96 saleen and it was sexy but the motor just didnt cut it. If you want the saleen look, do a clone like my current car.

If you want a s281 saleen 96-98 just buy a kit for it and go for a clone. A rio red 4v saleen will be nice. It'll be a lot cheaper that way, Just a suggestion.

bushing squeek? mine squeeks too and i thought it was the front wheel bearing but i replaced it and it didnt go away
