Ya found one on craigslist, it came off a 89 tho, and wen i look at 50resto, it has the years 86-89 and 90-93 boot covers...so im wondering if the one hes sellin will fit mines.

If it's for An 89 it won't work ... 87-89 tops stick out alot . 90-93 are more flush

i was lookin the boot covers up, and the years 90-93 only came in scarlet red, white, and black....that might indicate grey is for 83-89

has to be 90-93 only,no exceptions
has NOTHING to do with the myth of the top sitting down lower......
it has to to with the rear interior convertible panels,they are larger and bulkier in the 90-93 so the top boot has more material in that area to cover the top of the rear panel
