*This is the resistor that goes on the engine harness right by the Master Brake cylinder. My car is a 5.0 1989 Mustang. If anyone has an 89 that they are parting out I will take it off that car or if anyone knows where I can get it new please PM me.. Thanks!! [burnout]

Also, i f my car was missing this Resistor would this cause my coil to overheat and my car to shut off. Just looking to get your input guys.. [patriot] [burnout]

If ur car was an 85 with duraspark yea but not an 89 not with that ignitiin system. If u had a aftermatket ignitiin system some times they require a ballast resistor. But oem I believe it doesnt
