Well, its no longer a "feeler"...I decided that I need to put her up for sale. I'm moving out to Tracy soon and I'm going to need a commuter car.
A lot of you may already know all the work I've put into this car in the last few months, but its basically in perfect condition now. Runs excellent and looks tits ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
Here are the details:
1996 Ford Mustang Saleen #96-0314
Clean CA title
Clear Carfax (on-hand)
143k miles
All power options
A/C just recharged and blows ice cold
Heater works perfectly
5 spd manual transmission with new clutch (2 months ago)
Factory upgrades include:
Upgraded 13" Cobra front brakes with cross-drilled rotors
3:55 gears installed as a Saleen option
Computer reprogrammed (has FORD dealer sticker under hood)
Saleen white face gauges
Race Craft suspension
Saleen body kit
Billet pedal covers
Other upgrades include:
New MRC leather racing seats
1999-2004 style 18" Hyperblack Saleen rims
Upgraded Saleen fender badges (2005+ style)
New Saleen decals (replaced to freshen the look)
New clear diamond cut headlights and corner lights
Steeda shifter
Shorty antenna (not shown in pics)
K&N cold air kit
This is an unmolested authentic SALEEN with a stock motor. Do not let the miles fool you! This car runs very strong. Before I purchased it, I test drove 4 other 96-98 Saleens with less miles and this one ran A LOT better than the others! No joke, its a runner!
The car does not over heat even in the hottest weather (been using it to commute from Hayward to Milpitas these past few weeks even during 100+ degree weather). All maintenance is up to date and the car is ready to drive. The paint is also in great shape! The car gets compliments everywhere I take it!
NADA guide's lowest value is $11,850 with wear...the average value is $14,550!

I will also consider trades for a clean Toyota Tacoma Xtra cab, Nissan Frontier Xtra cab, or Nissan Xterra. Let me know what you got.

does it have any motor mods at all? or does it have just a stock 4.6 gt motor?

Just a K&N cold air kit and the computer was reprogrammed when it was purchased by Ford. Like I said, its completely unmolested. It runs REALLY good and has a lot of power for the little 4.6 that it is.
