I'm thinking of selling mine becuase I found a Navigator on eBay I'd like to buy provided I could sell my car this week. I'm asking 10k for it (I'm firm on the price right now, its a damn good car and I'm not in a hurry to sell it). It runs perfect, clean title/carfax and passes smog. Has a very clean black interior. 112k miles. No modifications done that I know of other than a brand new CD player and a high end Viper alarm we just installed. Has brand new tires and a brand new transmission/clutch/flywheel installed less than 2k miles ago (the factory one grinded going into 2nd gear and I opted to put an entire brand new unit in instead of rebuilding)

I would not spend 13,500 on a salvage 93 Cobra no matter what mods it had on it. It is a clean car though

agreed. beautiful car, big bummer on the title status. I don't know if I would even pay 6k (just throwing a low dollar # out there) for a salvaged 93 cobra, anything with a branded title like that is hard to resell and even insure with most carriers. Maeco's car looks stunning from the pics. If it weren't for the salvaged title, I would pick it up. Can't invest money into a car that I won't be able to sell down the line.

I hear ya, but then again I wouldn't pay 10k for an authentic Cobra with over 100k miles on it that was not completely stock.
To each their own.
On a seperate note, Maeco's motor is worth a LARGE sum of what he's asking so by parting it you can make quite a bit. Also, the 13k is OBO. I'd bet you could get it for somewhere around 11k if you had cash in hand. [ December 26, 2006, 06:56 PM: Message edited by: hidnn.o.s. ]

I'll assume your talking about mine.. It is stock minus a CD player and a alarm. But hey, like you said to each his own.

13.5 is not bad for a Cobra with that motor in it. But it does present a harder sale. Then again it was said I wouldnt be able to sell my Cobra which I had repainted Root Beer brown. But alas I sold it.
Good luck to Maeco on the sell and good luck to the dude in search of one. And Floored your cobra is hella clean (is the bumper cover discolored?).

no the bumper isn't. but the fender caps (whatever they are called) are ever so slightly. But the car hasn't been wrecked (still has its fender stickers) and never repainted so who knows what happened. Mine is a nice car, dosen't bother me one bit if I keep it forever, was just throwing it out there for the guy who started this thead.
On that note I think we all got way off topic here, lol
