ill be there, just found out today that ill be off weds, ill be there will my friend beto in his white 01 lightning,
also does anyone know who owns a black lincoln mark VIII with tints and has a cafords sticker onthe driver side 1/4 window, and was at sears point like a 2-3 weeks ago i was there with my friend in his lightning and a 00 black gt,

i'm trying out some heads, roller rockers, cam , intake manifold, maf meter and injectors.
Don't expect to be fast.. i'll run the car out on the first elimination round, i'm gonna be running the 1/8 mile on my trial runs.

I'll be there. I think my torque converter is needing to be replaced so I expect crappy 14.0 times with my 93 convertable AOD........
You can't miss it. It's gray in the front, black in the middle, white wing, with a few missing body parts here and there and sitting on cheap crappy fan wheels ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

Check out edgeracingconverters.com, Andre knocked a half second off my 1/8th mile and at the time my trac loc was blown out and I only had one tire spinnin. Now im in the low 1.6s. Ill see ya out there and you can see how my car runs.

better be there early.. i'll run on street tires my first couple of runs.. but will need them for my first elimination run so i can run it out..

Not a great night at the track. Lost overdrive on the way there, couldnt hook up at infenion my best 60 was 1.8 something as compared to sac.1.6s all day long? Then I notice hella belt dust from the supercharger and never trapped over 112. Belt was loose. best run was a 12.1 . Oh well at least my methanol kit came from summit today so It looks like theres work to be done. Oh yeah then redlighted the first run -.015 after the three previous .045-.055s oh well cant win em all!!

Well that stinks...sorry to hear that. I'd been waiting to here what your times were all day.
Do you know how to put the kit on yourself?
Lets try to get up to Sac in a couple weeks. I'm gonna pick up a trailer on 8/20.

Now that overdrive is out I will probably need to trailer up to Sac. along with ya but I might be able to bribe my buddy adam to trailor me up. Let Me know when your going and I will do My best to get there.

Can't win the all? i can't even win a single one..
So today... overall was a good day. i got to hang out with some friends, got a free sandwich(thanks Don) and got a nice tan,
other than that it sucked.
I got a couple of runs.. 13.7 @ 104.11 i was granny shifting on street tires, i just wanted to get a feel for the car wihtout getting in trouble for not having a cage.
I had planned on going all out with slicks on my first elimination round but didn't get a chance.
My other run, i launched horribly, car started hoping, spinning, i thought my rear end was gonna break.. and i pulled a crappy 14.4 ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif) @ 103.9 miles per hour.
I came back around, was getting ready to get my slicks on and noticed a crap load of oil on my rear bumper ![[Eek!]](eek.gif) ![[Mad]](mad.gif) . i thought my rear main seal went out again, but it was the lower intake manifold gasket that was leaking.
So i called it a day and headed home. ![[Whoo Whooooo!]](graemlins/woowoo.gif)

Jersey, thanks again for the slicks. I'll buy you a sandwich every time for the use of your slicks
Anyway, my 93 GT convertable, AOD, went a best of 14.0 @ 98. I'm looking forward to replacing the stock heads now with something nice

i saw your car jmir a couple times throughout the day.. nice vert. so out of 5 runs, my best was a 15.5 at 90mph. but this is a damn near stock 5.0 with only a panel filter and flows. plus i've only been driving stick for about a month and i'm still trying to get a feel for it. i couldnt get any traction too. but all and all, i had fun and met a lot of cool people. ill try to be there next week.
