i didn't set any records, but i did get the feel of being on the track again!
best run was a 12.9 @ 114, so i am missing a lot of power somewhere. or maybe it was just because it was running so lean before the dyno tune that i actually made more power.
4.10:1 gearing will get me more time in the power band and better times. traction is a big issue, i don't think i got under 2 seconds...
so, a set of Nittos is on the menu! 4.10s next clutch to follow...
11s arent far off with traction.

At your power level, 4.30's would work just fine even.... they should make a world of a difference with your peaky power band.

Hey it was nice talking to you today. What do you have in there as far as suspension goes?

4.30s would be optimum for the 1320 and if i didn't take the occasional 1000 mile roadtrip i would consider them more seriously. i think 4.10s might be little on the obnoxious side on the highway as it is...
good talking with you too, funky! the suspension was done by the previous owner it appears to have eibach springs, steeda lower control arms and welded subframe connectors.

Hey Rob, do the math at what ever MPH you cruise on the freeway... then get on the road and see what a difference 300ish RPM makes in the real world with a DOHC. Not a big difference between the two ratios, but every little bit helps.

hahaha!~ well.... last trip i made to the bay area, i rarely dropped below 90 and some time was spent above 130 mph...**
**disclaimer: none of the above really happened, it was only a dream...
youare saying that between 3.27 and 4.30 gear ratio i will only see a 300 rpm difference? that figure seems low. [ December 08, 2002, 01:40 PM: Message edited by: rob ]

130? Must have been closer to Sac than the bay area with all the traffic here.
300 RPM is roughly the difference between 4.10's and 4.30's at 85ish mph. You'll have to do the math yourself
