I am finally seriously considering parting with my toys, that include a 04 mystichrome and an 05 Caddy ctsv. I pay a crazy amount in insurance due to my driving history, and I am trying to justify keeping both but cannot find a legitimate reason to hold on to them. The idea is to sell themm and upgrade to a newerish CTS-V 09+ or a newer Mustang GT. Though this is a Ford site, I have grown up on here and I feel that the sites population is more open minded than it is brand specific. What is the majoritys decision given the options? 09+ CTS-V or 2017 Mustang GT?
Thanks for your responses

Sale the caddy and keep the mystic. Mystic values is way higher then that gm car in the long run. A regular GT anit shit in the future. My advise is if you're going to pull that trigger sell the mystic and caddy for a gt350 or if you want to gt350 R. Other than that I just keep the mystic and sell the caddy and slowly pay off the GT.

That's a hard one.
I did something similar back in 2010. I had a 2003 Cobra, 05 Mustang GT, 97 Mustang GT, 65 Mustang coupe, 2009 Shelby GT500, a 2007 and 2008 R1, a Ducati 1198S, all at the same time, my own pad in Belmont...life was awesome.
Then one morning I wake up, realizing I had no real money saved up, all I did was work to pay for these toys that sat around. I enjoyed them but didn't enjoy distributing my pay checks all over the place and not having any cash. I sold off everything except for my 97 GT and a 01 Ducati 748 that I bought after all that, just to keep a bike for the canyons. Life was much better. It kept me somewhat in control. It would have just kept getting me into trouble if I kept all those toy.
Then I got married, had a child, still have my 97 GT and 748, and the family car (Expedition) and its still all ok.
Didn't mean to rant on about my past but that was what I went through, totally different from you scenario, but sometimes change is good. Maybe a 2017 GT might be the answer. I am not opposed to Cadillac, but if you find yourself still in a jam between the two, if you haven't already, go take both cars for a drive and see which one catches you. If you're still stuck, go back home and get into your CTS and 04 mystichrome see how you feel.
Good Luck.

Would be tough for me to let go of a Mystic 03...
However, if you do let both go, I would pick up a GT350.

Is there something I'm missing about chevy cars? This is the second time I see someone on here wants to sell their rare '04 Mystic for a common chevy car. I personally would try to hold onto that car and enjoy it while it goes up in value.

My dream car is the 04 mystichrome. That car to me takes me back to my youth and when I was really into the car game. I've had a 2005 GT and an 09 GT500, but I had the most fun in my 03 Cobra and 97 GT. I was never able to get a mystic due to timing but that's the one car I still want to this day. I would literally turn down a GT350 or a new GT or new snake. The 04 MYSTICHROME is my car. One day. One day I'll get one.

while u get ur situation sorted out, i would keep one of the cars even if that means non op'ing it so you can save on insurance. last thing you want to do is make a rash decision, wholesale all the shiet you own and realize your situation wasnt that bad. there are sacrifices you gotta make and just gotta figure what is your priority. save the ride you want the most. i still regret selling my 03 SB terminator cuz at the time i thought 1600 a year in insurance was too much and in hindsight it probably couldve kept the car by making other financial sacrifices. I'm about to trade my 04 Cobra for a 2011 CTS V. I hope that I don't regret it!

Tough choice. If I was single and didn't have kids, I'd probably keep the Mystichrome Cobra. Since I need room for four, my choices in the last few years have primarily been fast sedans or crew cab trucks. I just picked up a low mileage '09 CTS-V manual. It should be here in a week or two.
