Does anybody have a coyote and put cat deletes on without a tune? How does it run? Is it safe?

i contacted SCT regarding that and they confirmed yes you need a tune. I have a jba h pipe with cat delete but i decided to keep the cats on cause i didnt want to go through the hassle of getting a new tune and re installing for smog...
