Whats the average cost of rebuilding a 4v engine? My 97 cobra developed what sounds like a rod knock after 2500rpms.

New pistons and rods for sure, something that can handle 5-600hp.

I paid $3,500 to get mime fully rebuilt and $1,500 for assembling and installing engine. Not cheap to get it rebuilt
