Anyone kno wat the best way to polish wheels i wana polish the lip of my rims have some stains and oxidized i wana bring the chrome back any advice on wat can be used?

First off, without even seeing them I'd bet money on them have a polished or raw aluminum lip, definitely not chrome. Secondly, the most likely have a clearcoat over said aluminum that might not be able to be saved. Post a pic of said wheels and report back.

I was thinkin of taking steel wool to it and buff it after from wat some one told me but not to sure if that works
