Bought these 17 pony r wheels new about a year ago. Still in flawless Shape. Dont want to go 5 lug. Is there any nice 18" wheels out there? What would look badass on car?
Or leave as is?
Also considering powder coating gloss black and getting white letter tires.....

This cars too clean and og. If it was mine if leave it as is. But it's not so it's up to you if u want to start hacking away at it/ throw a cam in etc

Keep it as is. Don't ruin a good set of 17" Pony R's! Plus, black ponies = ghetto! Also, with black ponies the car will no longer have the clean and classic Foxbody look. The originality and condition of your fox is rare Nowadays...leave it alone!

Lol, don't paint them. I know I know, after you look at them everyday they seem an inch too small but guess what it looks good as is and you will never be 100% satisfied

Thanks guys. The reason i was thinking black is because with white lettered tired itll look like a race car. Just something diff. But i do like the "stock" look and your right not too many out that havent been tampered with. Its crazy how many compliments i get everyday from young to older ppl.
But incase i was to just maybe get "summer" wheels what would they be? I used to have 20" cobra rs but got played out quick. Im thinkin 18" satin cobras maybe?

Ok im keeping wheels. But in future im planning on trying to get tires with white lettering. Ive searched high and low and cant seem to find any. Does anyone have info on where i can buy white letter tires for the 17s? Thanks

They sell this pen its looks like white out..Its call hot max white paint marker and its on amazon my friend did it to his rear tires and it came out good just take time.

Did you clean the tires off first? Like absolutely no tire shine or anything on it?
I hit them with acetone first. Then rubbing alcohol. Then degreaser. Then i started painting. And when i drove it and got home i noticed it flew off mostly lol. Fukn shet
