Did this on Saleens when I was down in LA.
You can paint on 99-04 panels. from 94-98 Ford applied a rubberized coating on the parts and this will react to automotive paints, plus with the many years of Armour-all that have been absorbed into it, probably better off getting the 99-04 ones.
Also did work for Joe at Chicane Sports Tuning as well and Adrian at Stallion Auto Concepts. I think there's a few people on this site that have bought my work from 99-02. [ 2015-01-29, 11:01 PM: Message edited by: RRRCobraSC281 ]

Only use SEM Brand and DEFINETLY use the vinyl prep SEM offers. It makes a huge difference. Recently did a complete black interior conversion on an 87 coupe woth 95% oem black parts. . Unfortunately black rear panels aren't available for that year(newer 90-93 panels are different).
Now I'm not really a fan of non original colored dyed parts but with the prep and their dye its damn near oem quality. [ 2015-01-30, 01:09 AM: Message edited by: HaulinAss Motorsports ]

Oh, you're talking about painting your interior to convert from grey to black for example. It's important to prep you plastic an make sure it is free of oils. Need to use a flexible primer. Once painted try not to flex the parts too much.
Most of my experience in painting interior plastic was for accent pieces.
