I was thinking about repainting my front and rear bumpers using primer, color matched spray cans and clear from Jerry's paint. I would be painting in my garage.

Has anyone ever used cans and had the finished product turn out good?

ive seen that you need to blend the new paint into the old, this makes me nervous.

Do yall's think I should give this a shot are is it waste of money, any tips, tricks or advise would be helpful. Thank you.

My neighbor did the jambs on his truck with factory color paint from a rattle can. If you take your time, prep and spray right, it'll come out very nice. His looks really good and didn't cost him very much money.

While I have no personal expreience (yet) with this method, I am going to be trying it in the very near future on my Mystic Cobra. Just like any paint job, the more work you put towards prep will reward you later with the finished product. I plan on getting some $0.99 cans of paint and practicing my technique on a few things first befote actually doing the car.

The company I'm using is online and can do almost any color, plus they use primarily Sherwin Williams paint(my color uses BASF). Make sure the area you are painting in is spotless, I would even wet the floor so the dust stays down. If mine turns out good, I will post up a tutorial.

BTW the company is called automotivetouchup.com.
