I am looking to replace the shocks and struts on my 01 bullitt and I was wondering which might be the best bang for the buck out there. I don't want drag shocks I just want it to ride nice and smooth btw the whole suspension is stock. Any feedback would be great, thank you cafords .

Koni Yellow SA(single adjustable). It's a little more than average, but well worth the cost. You can adjust the firmness to your liking and I believe they have a lifetime warranty.

Koni Single adjustable.

They are on sale right now until May 30th. 25% off.

You can get a full set, front and rear, for like $600

Depends what you want out of your springs. Comfortable ride? Super low looks? Aggressive handling?

Bullitt Mustangs come from the factory with nice springs. Linear rate front and rear, with a 600lb/in front and 250lb/in rear rate.

H&R Super Sport spring tend to be very popular. They drop the car pretty low. 1.5-2.0" and offer noticeably stiffer spring rates. They are progressive front and rear with working ranges of 700-760lb/in and 275-300lb/in front and rear respectively.

H&R Sports are usually a good spring for a street car. Milder 1.0-1.5" drop. They are progressive front and rear. But they will be softer up front than your current Bullitt springs, with a working range of 490-575lb/in. The rears will be slightly stiffer with a working range of 250-285lb/in.

Steeda Sports are also usually a great spring set. 1.25" drop front and rear. The front are a linear rate spring, and are slightly stiffer than your stock Bullitt springs at 650lb/in. The rears are progressive and softer, with a working range of 200-250lb/in.

I'd stay away from Eibach Pro Kit springs unless you're just cruising the streets. 1.5" drop. They are progressive front and rear, but start off softer than everything else listed above. Good looks and comfortable.

If you want ultimate handling, H&R Race and Steeda Comp springs offer stiff front rates like the H&R Super Sports, without the dramatically lowered ride height.

H&R Race are only about an inch lower than stock, progressive front and rear with 750-850lb/in and 260-280lb/in working ranges.

Steeda Comp are 1.25" drop, 750-850lb/in progressive front, and 250lb/in linear rear.

That's what I got all around but never rode on the front struts yet. In two weeks hopefully I'll know what it feels like.
