I had two employees come to my house today with curent id from comcast and employee id numbers they said that comcast is doing a special offer for a few days to lower cost on current clients. Is this true or bs. I was not home but my wife was.

ima tech for comcast best bet is to get it in writing it could be true......sale reps have a ton of promotions and ways to get things done

If they came to your door, it is true. D2D sales reps have the most aggressive offers, known as "winback" offers. Make sure they give you a sales order form in writing.
