Good parenting in my opinion. Everyone person I know who was raised like that or had a parent say "don't come home if you lose a fight and of you do I'll beat your ass too for losing" is doing pretty good mentally. You gotta take every fade that comes your way stand up for your self. You never learn by never doing. I mean yea it LOOKS bad but come on I don't want no punk ass kids, of do the same thing to an extent

How about she get the poor kid some training if she's gonna force him to fight some kid who knows what he's doing... And then they wonder why these kids snap and kill their parents in their sleep!

I agree with lx James ...the only way I would make my son or daughter fight, is making sure they are confident enough to do so...and no not only in self defense as "oh I'm goanna let him hit me first" no if someone picks on my son or daughter bully's them etc yea that is ok in my book. Now if it's someone bigger then them or they already get beat up and in the same age range you better believe I'm goanna encourage them to take classes, watch Mma, and practice with them,when there ready Thell fight...
I heard plenty of times of what lxjames said by multiple people...don't come home if you lose that fight.and yes our parents ment good when saying that, in a way that was giving us encouragement/incentive to win.
But what this video showed, no I don't condone....kid clearly didn't want to. Kid didn't know how to fight, I'm pretty sure I seen the dad in the back round

I think that was a little over the top. When I was a kid I came home once with a black eye because my parents always said "don't fight" well once my parents saw this they told me go back and kick his ass "if you don't I will kick yours". Damn straight that was motivation lol. Next day I came back with a smile because I defended myself a knocked the other kid down by socking him straight on the face... I did the same thing to my little brother . The moment someone puts one finger on you sock him as hard as you can and make that shit count. He's fought every bully that's come his way and never backs down.... Now in this case you can clearly see this kid does not want to fight. I know if I had a kid, and he can't beat him you bet your ass I'm going to teach him how to defend himself.
