Author Topic: Things to do in South Tahoe? DLo ¯ Member # 6133 posted                              Snowboarding/skiing is out for me since I've got a messed up knee. Was possibly thinking of looking for a snowmobile rental but I don't think I'll do that all day. Definitely wanted to go see the snow though since it just dumped... FINALLY. But nights are brutal and I want to make sure I know where I'm going, so if I go, it'll have to be a well-traveled and known trail. Are snow shoes required for winter hiking? Dinner was good and atmosphere is fun. They have live music so the band varies each time. Last one we did in April 2013 and it snowed the last half of the cruise. The drink are expensive as expected.
