Author Topic: are smog retests free?? ed650 ¯ Member # 9897 posted                              2002 sentra failed smog due to missing oil dipstick causing pcv leak and the smog tech told me if I buy a new dipstick thru them for $20 that I coul resmog it for free..I alrea bought new dipstick and other little things thru the dealer..now my question is if the retests are free and they were just try to get me to buy the part thru them or do they actually charge for a retest? I bet they will charge you to retest it. I hope they don't though.
