I just bought a auto logic chip from a member here and now I need to know of a shop if any that would be able to tune it to my car? From the reviews I'm reading on other forums chances are slim. The member told me it was a SCT chip.

If it looks like this:
You are screwed. This is the old style chip used for tuning in the 90's. No one still does them as far as I know.
If it looks like this:
You are good.....and he did NOT lie to you. It is an SCT chip, which most tuners use these days.

I said it was either a auto logic or a sct what ever came with a vortec supercharger . I offered to bring it to work and let you see. I also told you pretty much any chip you bought will have to be re-burned, and that most people these days use sct hand held tuners. Hand held tuners are about 379.00 with canned tunes. or add another 400-500 for custom dyno tune. I also told you I have a sct hand held tuner with no tunes unlocked.

I needs tah chip muh car bruh bruh. Doesn't inspire my confidence that this dude knows what he's doing on the 2v. All the newer cars typically use a tuner which you can usually buy 300-400 new and 200-300 used. That being said, making a 20 dollar choice between a seller who's confirmed what he's selling and confirming that it would work for your car (with a tune) and another seller who doesnt confirm exactly what he has and that it would work for your vehicle is a bad way to save money, IMO. Always know what you buy and if you need help with what you are working with please post in the tech section so you don't make another bad decision on parts. We want to see your car run hard too bruh bruh. Stop wasting yo paper.

I am asking if anyone knows where to get the chip re burned the $$ is not a problem. If I can't find someone to re burn it for my car then what would be the point of me buying it. That is all.

Hey mods lock this up. I talked to the guy I sold the chip to. I offerd him his money back if he wants it. For what he wants to do a sct tuner with canned tunes is the way to go. [ 2013-10-16, 02:56 PM: Message edited by: jmcclesk ]
