Not bad for my 1st go at it. Would have been easier with a second pair if hands. Had a little piece left over so I slaped it on the fuel door.

I like how that looks. What was the price of the material used? If you don't mind..... Out of curiosity how much would you charge for the exact same job on a another Fox?

I bought the 60"x60" roll of 3D carbon fiber from EBay for $34. Delivered in 2 days from So Cal. If somebody wanted me to do it I would charge $150 for labor. I quoted a few places and they wanted to charge $350, I just couldt do that.

Man good luck with that. Getting all the bubbles out is a PITA. I suggest trying just the hood 1st.

Things tight. Since I would never pay the price for a legit carbon fiber cowl hood I think imam go this route. Looks great! [patriot]

Thanks man, yeah I couldn't justify wrapping a $400 hood with a $350 vinyl job. Might as well just buy a real carbon fiber hood.

Previous owner installed Maier racing fiberglass widebody kit. The back quarters were cut out & replaced with fibergalss. Front is just bolt on Maier racing fiberglass fenders.

My car is a similar is a similar color, how much a pain in the ass is it to take it off if u don't like it? Did u use a wetting agent before u applied the wrap. The carbon fiber looks cool on that color combo

It peels off pretty easy. No wetting agent needed. But you have to use a nice heat gun to form to the round & edged areas. It harder than it looks for sure. It took me around 3 hours by myself. There are tons of videos on youtube. They make it look easy because they have done it a 1000 times. I'm sure ill get quicker with the next one.
