Topic: Almost lost my car to a fire....

Driving down 680 wen my car turns off and the brakes shut off completely. I pull the E brake to see smoke coming out my hood. Pull open the hood to see FiRE!! Fucking fire in my hood i grab anything i could grab and try and set the fire off. I backed away and told myself to let it go to mustang heaven i sat and watched the flames get bigger wen a stranger in a nissan pulls over with an extinguisher and i set it off. Fuck i was so close to completely losing my car, i got cheap insurance to drive it from work and back on weekends and random days. Now my question is should i keep it and fix it, or sell it. Ive gone thru alot with her but i think this might have been the last straw. But i want opinions the damage was mostly wiring no paint or major damage. What should i do? I need advice pls Ca fords family

Shit you dodged a bullet, you should have an extinguisher when you start doing shit to your car. And you don't open the hood unless you got a game plan to put the fire out cause once the air hits the engine bay when you pop the hood it's gonna get big fast.
