So long story short I had my car detailed about a month ago and hadn't popped the hood since, but I think they pressure washed and knocked off my sticker for my k&n CAI. Well now i'm due for smog and being the master procrastinator I am, I don't have time to wait for a new one. Does anyone know if I can provide alternate proof to the smog guy? I called a couple places and they said no unless the part number is physically present on the intake, which its not. I also no longer have my stock intake. Thanks for any advice you guys might have.

K&N sent me a new sticker in like 2 days otherwise go on CARB website print out the page with the exact part number and CARB EO and take the printout with you.

Most shops can look that info up as long as there is a part # to work with

I sent in for a new sticker from K&N, so hopefully it doesn't take too long. I also printed all the info I could, maybe I can bring all to the smog shop and they will except it. If all else fails I will just wait and pay the late fee. Procrastination ftl ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

What's the process for new carb stickers? Can you send to any company (airaid, steeda, etc)?

No need to pay a late fee. Just pay for your registration on time. You just won't receive your tags until you pass smog.

If the part number Is present on it the smog tech has to go on the BAR web site and look it up for you

Failed! Not because of the intake either, he was good with the documents I provided. It was because I changed my hood and the emissions sticker isn't there and he couldn't verify wether or not I should have egr. Just ordered the sticker on eBay for $8. Hopefully one day this car won't smog because its got a ton of mods instead of missing stickers smh lol ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)
