Well, had to replace our smashed Escape with something else and the wife insisted it gets better mileage than the Escape did. So we narrowed it down to the Fusion Hybrid or the Jetta TDI. The VW won. We found a nice pre-owned one at the dealer. The previous owner only had it 6 months before trading it in. This is my 3rd Jetta and 4th VW.
