im looking to swap a rear end in my 1968 mustang but i need the previous brackets taken off and new spring perches welded in, a lot of places wont do it but they (res) said they could for about 200. so my question is basically, are they any good or does someone know of a better place near san jose thats capable?

I know like 4 people who has taken their stangs there. Nobody had any complaints and said price was reasonable too.

Had my 3:55 gears installed there about 2 years ago and they're still going strong. Seemed to be really nice guys.

They know what they are doing, had them swap out three sets of gears in my car. Take your own lube/parts; it is cheaper.
Depending on what kind of work you need done, a basic gear swap takes these guys less than 45 minutes.

I took off the IRS pumpkin from my car and took it in to Rear end specialties a few years ago for the installation of a Eaton Tru Trac diff and Ford racing 4:30 gears and I was happy the work performed by rear end specialties.
