This shoot out between the guy with the AK 47 and the police officer is an example of why high capacity magazines must be banned. What would have happened to the police lady if the guy with the AK had a 100+ round drum of ammo instead of having to stop and reload? The police officer could have been killed.
there is no reason for these military style weapons to be on our streets as they are threat to our public safety.

I'm sure that ak was fully registered to that individual, and otherwise he was an upstanding citizen in his community. Maybe the cops shoulda stopped and asked him why he felt he needed to shoot at the officers in the first place!
