Just picked this Mustang power wheels off Craigslist for $40.
She wasnt liking the escalade she had ever since I got rid of my ctsv for a mustang.
I'm planning on painting it mystichrome, or something similar.
Finishing the 18v conversion today, and then disassembling for paint and body work lol
Going to do some 4 year old drag racing with a neighbor that has a vette pw

Anyone else do the 18v conversion on here?

Good times

You might wanna think twice about painting it. What happens when she hits something and it cracks/chips etc?

I just bought my 2 year old boy one a week ago, red power wheels mustang. How did you do the 18v swap, the 12v is good for now but I would like to upgrade when he gets older.

Pretty easy really...wired my son's 12v battery in series with a 6v battery along with a battery isolater..checked the motor in his to see what max amps were and rant the proper resistance as well...viola..safe 18v for like 50 bucks..batteries charged correctly and motor never caught on fiire

Here is my son on his. All I done is put some bike tire mod since I hated the one wheel spin. He just turn 2 so pretty soon I will make it a 18v.

I hooked up an 18v XRE Dewalt Battery. I just ordered two HPI GT550 motors. His F150 drifts hella hard.
