so i got a viper car alarm n it keeps going off every 30mins or so, so i'm gonna take it out and was wondering if i could still use my regular ford controls with it? gonna suck not having remote start, but this is annoying af!

Depending on the year of the car, if the installer did not diode isolate the door triggers from the GEM module it will go off every 30 min like clock work. Any reputable Car audio shop could fix it for you.

well took it in today to pacific stereo, they worked on it said it was good to go, came home waited 30mins n same shit [Mad]

now if i took out this alarm could i still program ford remote controls? to lock and unlock my car?
