I picked up a silverado 2500 from an old man last week. In great shape for a good price. Found out pretty quickly after buying it that it had this horrible old person smell that wasn't going to leave without a battle. I googled how to get smells from cars and found out if you put coffee grinds in the car and keep it shut for 48 hours it will absorb the smells from your car an neutralize odors. I did it and it actually worked great, just thought I'd throw that out there if any of you guys have smells and what not you can't get out.

I thought you were trying to disguise your marijuana odor.

I used a can of some knock off cheap coffee. I actually spread it around the floor, but you dont have to do that. It has the rubber floor so I wasn't concerned about cleaning it out. New coffee is what I used. And the truck has a slight coffee smell, but is much better than old woman perfume. I'm pretty sure that's what it was at least.
It was like the episode of Seinfeld where he gives the car away because of the b.o stench.

Smells can be very tough to get out of cars/houses.
Usually people have to replace the seats/carpet to get it out completely as most products will just cover it up.
