i was gona say the big block was old school stuff, and the guys that went that way got out and went with small blocks, and guys are getting faster times there. has nothing to do with the old motor i promise. its just that there isnt any traction due to all the front weight and the need for rear tubs, due to the lack of traction, but i see u got mini tubs, but those back tires look super small. u should take advantage of all the room back there possible for tire clearance, if im seeing incorrectly please forgive me. have u beat your old time yet?

Those are my roller tires. They are 225 16's lol. The rear end is shortened 5 inches. that's why they are sucked in that far. I have the slicks in the garage.
Plus those X275 guys run 7's with a big block on spray with a 275 radial so I don't think a big block is a problem. Nor is traction if you dial it in right. [ June 12, 2012, 10:38 PM: Message edited by: ItzStock ]

Also Duncan about my old times... I have not had a chance to beat them yet. I went to the track drove down the track ran a 12.1 @ 118 @ 1/4 throttle lol. Than my dumb ass didnt top off the trans fluid and cooked the tranny before I can get another run. I replaced the tranny with a better one with a trans brake and made sure IT HAS FLUID this time and gonna head out to the track. July 21's should be there unless the car brakes again!!
