Quick Rant ;
So lately I have been searching through CL looking at mustangs just to burn time when I'm bored. I have been noticing that people are claiming KBB prices for foxes and most of them that are are using KBB as a reference And their car's are straight beat to shit or not running. I seen one ad for some beat ass fox that wasn't even running and the owner claimed in his ad that the KBB value was 3800. I laughed and figured the dude was a crackhead. But from what I know and my experiences KBB is not even relative when it comes to foxes especially. Just sick of seeing people using that method of price

Yeah, KBB is str8 stupid
Look up a notch in exc condition from around 1990
It prob says like $1800 you can almost triple that for a real price

Yea, seriously. The price of what most foxes will KBB for is ridiculously low that's why I'm like uhgg okay when I see people use it as a price reference. Completely irrelevant when it comes to foxbodies

i dont even think insurance companies use it as reference for totaled vehicles. mine didnt for the fox i think they used like auto trader just for that reason you bring up in the op

Well when i was in a fender bender because a truck decided to pull out infront of me,The damage came out to $1600 because i kept telling the insurance guy i dont want a salvage title so to give me the cheapest parts, he told me at the end that my car "89 gt" is worth $4000.
I dont agree with him but ill take it
