Topic: so how many of you drive with no front plate?

i've been riding around in my 68 for 10 years without a front plate and havent had any problems. I've been fighting myself not to drill in the front of my new challenger to add the front plate. That and it just makes the car look like crap..lol.. So what is the cost of the ticket if you get pulled over?

My BMW didn't come with a front plate and the tints are kind of dark, especially at night, I never have any problems.

25 with correction. Had my mustang for 2 years never got popd for a plate, I think as long as your not out driving like a Asshole that's to little of a thing for them to waste their time on. But then again your get cops that play by the book so Maybe Im just lucky. They do make retractable front plate holders that mount to the radiator support so no holes in the bumper.

Just got my tint a month ago and got a warning then today got a fix it ticket.. my fault though he caught me driving like a Asshole dogging the 101 north on ramp from 92.. couldn't help it no cars were around and I love that turn Haha

they only use the front plate excuse if they want to screw with you and cant find anything else wrong. Its probably cause. i've been running my mustang without one for two years and my classic 4x4 without one for 8.

I rode with no front plate for over 2 years. Never got hassled for it until I got my car impounded, then they sent me a ticket in the mail for the front plate. ![[BS flag]](graemlins/bs_flag.gif)

When I get a ticket for no front plate I just go to kragen and buy that 3M double side molding tape put it around my plate stick it in the front and get it signed off. Works everytime!

I ride with front plate all the time. One thing I can't stand is being pull over I get a lil frustrated kuz I hate cops.

Never got one on my Saleen that I had for 3 years wh or 350z. Knock on wood. Seems they ticket for it if they need a reason to pull you over.

I run a front plate because I don't want an excuse to be pulled over..... But at the same time I always say, " How many Corvettes do you see with a front plate? " I can honestly say I've never seen one with a front plate.

On all my cars except my faleen I run a front plate. I rarely drive the faleen so I don't really care. But I'm not going to risk getting pulled over in my other cars for that reason.

My cobra on the other hand I've gotten 3 front plate tickets so I finally bought a retractable plate holder that bolts under the radiator support. Pull it out when I drive and hide it when at shows and shit like that works pritty good

Never ran a front plate on any of my cars. Only one time I got pulled over for no front plate in my camaro. Only because the cop thought I was trouble ![[burnout]](graemlins/burnout.gif)

Recieved a no front plate ticket while the car was parked on the curb right in front of my house that 3M double sided tape is a good idea

no plate here when i did get a ticket i zipped tie it to the front for the fix it sign off then took it right off...i run no front plate because a cop that pulls you over is going to anyways if they want atleast they feel like they did there job by giving me a fix it ticket instead of a referee ticket
